Original Oil Painting in my series “Welcome to My Jungle”
this beautiful bird was seriously endangered following Hurricane Maria in 2017. Half of the island's population disappeared, and it is one of the most critically endangered birds in the world. Like so many things in Nature, especially in tropical areas, the will to live is strong and despite subsequent storms, this little bird is a symbol of hope as their population struggles to grow.

Please note that the original artwork is on exhibit at the Museo La Antigua Casa Alcaldia in Carolina, Puerto Rico until mid-July, 2025. It may be purchased in advance but will not ship until after the exhibit has ended.
